This can apply to both routine patrol concerns and criminal investigations in the unincorporated areas of Hamilton County, including the cities of Walden and Lakesite, which contract law enforcement services from the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office. All tips are directed to the appropriate division for follow-up.

School Threat tips include threats our School Resource Deputies would normally respond to at or against schools, students, or teachers at Hamilton County schools.

Tips to the Narcotics Division generally include information about people making, using, or selling illegal substances. This includes offering knowledge of known or suspected drug houses, creation labs, and delivery points. Tips to narcotics personnel can be responded to if deemed appropriate by all other divisions within the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office.
