All tips are submitted securely and are used solely for the purposes of gathering information to assist in civil process. You will not be contacted unless you explicity authorize the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office to do so, by specifying your contact information in the body of the message.

Tips related to criminal activity can be submitted for various issues, including suspicious or illegal activities in your neighborhood, excessive speeding, domestic disturbances, loud music, serious animal-related incidents, or any other disturbances. Additionally, tips may include information about ongoing investigations, stolen property, or potential gang activity. This can apply to both routine patrol concerns and criminal investigations in the unincorporated areas of Hamilton County, including the cities of Walden and Lakesite, which contract law enforcement services from the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office. All tips are directed to the appropriate division for follow-up.
School Threat tips include threats our School Resource Deputies would normally respond to at or against schools, students, or teachers at Hamilton County schools.
Tips to the Narcotics Division generally include information about people making, using, or selling illegal substances. This includes offering knowledge of known or suspected drug houses, creation labs, and delivery points. Tips to narcotics personnel can be responded to if deemed appropriate by all other divisions within the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office.
Tips related to concerns about officer or employee conduct will be reviewed and responded to by Internal Affairs if deemed appropriate, and all submissions will be kept confidential.
Tips acknowledging positive officer or employee conduct will be received and reviewed by Internal Affairs, with confidentiality maintained for all submissions.
